A fundraiser for the local independent internet radio station... WWW.FREEWHISTLER.COM. One stage, three nights and two days with local talent playing/performing electronic music to help raise money for upgrades to the recording equipment/software for our station. The party is set up near the bungee bridge (6km south of Whistler) left hand side (going south). Go past the turn, go to next exit, hang a u turn, go right at bungee turn off, go down road few km, past two gravel pits, on right hand side, down hill, by river. Please park on extreme right or better yet take a cab. 604 932 3333 or 604 938 1515...They will get you there and back safe. Bring some warm gear and be prepared to have a great weekend full of wicked beats and GOOD VIBES
So before the turn to the bungee bridge, there is a narrow road on the right, follow this until it ends, you will see cars parked, you can't drive right into the party. From there starts a path, you have to walk down some stairs, or listen for bass!!! If confused, please email or post to the wall!!! (i think the boys are on markers now as well)

The Joyscouts of Canada and Saunasessions of course, and our guests. This is invite only. It's a small camping area and it's kind of an immediate friends and family event. This is a kid & dog friendly event - bring your dog if it plays well with others, bring your kids if they can handle adults misbehaving.

No randoms.
No sketchiness please.

How:
With your money! $40 covers the whole weekend. $20 for one night.
There will be small discounts for work/volunteer commitments or short stays. It's a Campout: with activities, sat night cocktail party (this years theme "The Prehistoric Promenade", Extreme Debocci, Beast Feast, Arts'n'Craft table, Badass Badminton, Stone Age Scavenger Hunt, on site sauna and kickassfunkymusicspinning dj's...and a bunch of other stuff.

HOW TO ASSEMBLE A FUNKOREE FROM A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT CITY ADDRESSES:
in a magic spot near mile 23 1/3 of the squamish valley logging road from VANCOUVER travel north on the highway 99 go through squamish turn left towards paradise valley/ squamish valley (right at this junction would take you to alice lake) go over train tracks and small bridge veer left up squamish valley, not right up paradise valley observe posted signs: people, animals and logging trucks live in this area at mile 20 the paved road ends .... only 3 and 1/3 miles of logging road left there is a brief patch of paved road
pass a hydro pant on the right and a bridge across squamish river on the left look for mile markers on right after mile 23 marker slowdown and find the entrance to the campsite on the left we usually have the entrance marked in one way or another but these often get torn down multiple times during the event.
