You probably best know Lopazz for the quality, avant-garde club music he’s produced for labels like Get Physical, Pokerflat, Cocoon Rec. and London’s legendary Output Recordings, but his career as a multimedia artist is far more colourful and diverse than you might’ve imagined.

His first serious involvement with music began in the early 90s; since 1996 he’s been a part of the HD800 team founded by legendary Dman, with whom he operated a techno club, two record labels (800achtspur & 800trak) and a recording studio.

Restless as ever, Lopazz is currently dividing his time between the studio, where he’s working on the new album for DJ T., and his home, where enjoys a happy existence. As the man himself says, “I have no message to preach – I just represent my music, and life…”

DJ SOO steadfastly (some say stubbornly) refuses to be pigeonholed in any specific genre or style. Long considered one of Vancouver's best party-rocking DJs, SOO has spent the last several years perfecting his craft and honing his skills - mixing, cutting, and blending a range of different styles while keeping heads nodding and bodies moving. Never content to simply follow trends of the day, SOO thrives on broadening his own musical horizons in an endless search for new music and styles to keep even the most jaded of partiers firmly entrenched on the dancefloor. Either rocking it solo or with longtime collaborator DJ Wood, a party with SOO behind the decks is a guarantee for a rump-shaking, fist pumping, head-banging, good time.

Frivolous is the imaginary personification of my obsession with sound-design for both dancing and living alike. Manifesting in a multitude of performances and recorded works, my sound has been described as Jazz-infused minimal or experimental house.

Stemming from an educational background in Classical Piano, electronics and Interdisciplinary Design, my “dynamic” one-man performances have taken stage from Montreal to Germany, Moscow to Texas, and many places in between all the way back to Vancouver which was my birth-place. ACID GIRLS, comprised of Gregory Bowler and Jamie McNiel, are a DJ and production duo based in Los Angeles, CA. Acid Girls have carved their own niche in the international dance music scene, combining pop and techno, disco and electro. Their unique mix of influences ranging anywhere from the timeless disco of Arthur Russell and the ageless synth pop of Brian Eno, to the eclectic innovations of Aphex Twin and dancefloor classics of Basement Jaxx and beyond. Their productions and DJ sets guarantee a fun, sweaty night out.

Currently signed to IHEARTCOMIX, Acid Girls have become a prevalent name in the remix world. Previous works include remixes for HEALTH, Appaloosa, Mini Viva, Sisters of Transistors and IHC labelmates Heartsrevolution. Acid Girls have maintained a dedicated following within the blogosphere, and have received praise from many well followed online music blogs such as Big Stereo, Discodust, Palms Out Sounds, Missingtoof, and Discobelle. Recently, they were selected by Urb Magazine as one of the Next 100, while Anthem Magazine selected them as one of fifty artists to watch. Additionally, the prestigious New Yorker wrote that they are among the few artists and DJ's breathing new and exciting life into dance music.

The Numbers Song / Lightworks is the latest release from Acid Girls, and promises to be one of their strongest to date. With remixes by Jokers of the Scene and Dave P & Adam Sparkles. In addition to the release on IHEARTCOMIX, Acid Girls recently were released on a split EP with Classixx on Kitsuné.

Bass Coast Project and SiGNAL present three of their favourite 4:4 artists from this summer's Bass Coast Festival, at the Lotus Sound Lounge in Vancouver. The night is sure to heat up with Woodhead, Mavens, and Kenzie Clarke from Bitchin' - rockin the floor.

Bass Coast Project is based out of Squamish BC, and presents an annual 4-day electronic music and art festival on the beautiful white sand beaches of the Squamish Valley. The festival combines cutting edge live and electronic music with installation artists, performances, music video contest, workshops, camping, and mud wrestling! One hour from Vancouver, the fest has doubled in size each year and is now a destination on the North American festival circuit. Homegrown Fun! These ladies know how to have a good time.

Chris Harrington, from Lincoln, England, discovered Electronica music at age 13 in 2004. By the time he was 14, he had saved up enough money to get himself a pair of turntables and a basic mixer. Now 20 and living in Vancouver, Chris is addicted to DJing and he has developed his own unique style by fusing together a mix of Techno, Progressive and Tech House. As well as Djing, Chris also owns the "Uncovered" label which has released tracks from many local and international artists. Keep an eye out for the 20 year old as he is one to watch for the future!"

The duo of Crnobrnja & Gloor (aka In Flagranti) are like the MVP's of this new disco shit, always advancing and coming correct with every release. Smutty is the best way to describe the mutant disco duo. They make the sort of records that should be kept on the top shelf, well away from children and those with a weak disposition.

"Firmly Planted Memories" is their latest exploration into the various realms of the dirty disco sound and as usual, the team hits their destination spot on. The title track(1) will get you situated into the electro-disco house groove, with pumping drums and arpeggiated bass topped off with clever scat vocal chops and effects. Kind of reminds me of something off the "Wronger Than Anyone Else" full length. "Where Is Miss Palmer(2)" goes on a tangent to some seriously funky terrain (kind of a new sound for In Flagranti), with more of a breaks-style beat, fat bass and some African(?) vocal bits. Feelin' this one. This EP also features the straight ahead disco sounds of Lord Isis' "Erdoel(3)" and rumbling, tribal swing beat of Eldridge and Huey's "Revolutionary Bust(4)." Don't really know too much about these tracks (possible aliases for IF?), but they definitely do not seem out of place with the rest of the EP. Packaged in a fitting collage pic sleeve by Gloor.
